NY, May 2017
I lay on my back, tasting the rain
Malaysia.
The Andaman Sea. Raining.
Everyone else has gotten out of the water.
I lay on my back, tasting the rain.
Mask on, watching drops land, lulled by the sound of Wrasse chewing coral.
Underneath, the water is warm.
heavy/so pretty
rain, falling
yellow, coral, rust leaves quiver
heavy/so pretty
the crow

all of your heart
taken back into the crow
tricked into selling your soul
laughing, like you didn’t know?
hello kitty….
Williamsburg, 2016
sisyphean in your trials, who damned you?
out of sight, out of mind,
hard truths
sisyphean in your trials,
who damned you?
honesty, bravery,
brand new
unable to renew your vows,
unglued
